Richard Shaklee is a partner of the firm and concentrates his practice in Employment and Labor matters, Commercial Litigation, Local Government matters and Mediation.

Mr. Shaklee has expertise in handling employment matters in Court and administrative agencies representing employers and employees in contractual disputes, harassment and discrimination matters, whistleblower, wrongful termination, wage disputes, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and other employment matters. He provides experienced representation in claims and situations involving the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (LAD), Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
He has served as Labor Counsel for numerous public entities including Manalapan Township, Wall Township, Hightstown Borough and Jamesburg Borough. He is currently Borough Attorney for the Borough of Interlaken. Mr. Shaklee has a Diplomate Certificate in Municipal Law from the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys.
Mr. Shaklee is a Rule 1:40 Qualified Mediator and is listed on the New Jersey Superior Court Roster of Mediators. He has mediated disputes in employment, real estate, construction, contractual and many other matters.
Mr. Shaklee has also been a speaker at several seminars of the Monmouth Bar Association on labor and employment law and was an Adjunct Instructor at Ocean County College teaching a course on employment laws for Human Resource Managers.
